File Prep for Printing
Accepted Files
Prepare your work for printing by saving high-quality JPEG files with an embedded color profile.
- Export files tagged with an RGB Color Profile—P3, Adobe RGB, and sRGB are all great options.
- We recommend saving your files at a JPEG quality of 10 or higher in Photoshop, 90% in Lightroom, or the equivalent in your editing tool.
- Most products are printed at 300 DPI, and we’ll automatically resize your files for printing. For more precise control, you can resize your files and apply any sharpening before submitting.
Optimized Printing Choices
We always want your image to print perfectly. When placing an order for Fine Art Canvas, be sure to choose whether you want the image optimized for Color or for Black and White. The Black and White workflow ensures all color is removed from your image and you receive the most neutral black and white print.

Our Fine Art Canvas Prints have a tight and consistent weave that matches the texture most people think of for an artistic canvas.

Premium Fine Art Canvas with Semi-Gloss Laminate
A beautiful option for almost all imagery styles with a slightly reflective finish.
Premium Fine Art Canvas with Matte Laminate
A matte finish providing the least amount of reflection.
Giclée Printed Canvas
The image is printed directly onto the canvas surface using Epson archival large-format inkjet printers.
Portrait Canvas
Matboard
A heavyweight, dry mount board at an economical price. Over time, some warping may occur due to its fiber-based nature. For this reason, we do not offer sizes larger than 16×20".
Styrene
Styrene is our most popular mounting substrate, available in 3mm white and black. Made from plastic, it is not susceptible to warping.
Masonite
This traditional mounting surface provides a heavy-duty and long-lasting substrate. Our Masonite comes in the standard ⅛" size and is perfect for the high-end market.
Foamboard
Foamboard is ¼" thick and available in white and black. The foam material is encased in a durable plastic shell and can be the perfect lightweight solution for inserting in frames.
Canvas Stretcher Frame
The Canvas Print is stretched around a ¾" frame and stapled to the sides. The image does not wrap around the sides of the frame. It is only visible on the front of the stretcher frame, unlike our Gallery Wrap wall display product.
Standout
Standouts are made from lightweight foam banded with a Black, White, Light Wood, Bamboo or Stainless Steel edge. Available in ¾" or 1½" depth for popular print sizes from 8×8" to 30×40" complete with hanging holes on the backside. All Standout board dimensions are undersized by ¼". Learn more about Standouts
Bamboo Panel
Bamboo Panels are ¾" thick, providing a heavy base for select sized prints from 5×5" to 30×40". A distinctive pattern is exposed along the edge of the panel with a smooth finish. Bamboo Panels arrive ready to hang with a carved-out keyhole on the back. Learn more about Bamboo Panels
