--- title: "Canada" url: "https://static-stage.whcc.com/help/shipping/canada/" updated: "2026-09-09T09:30:46-05:00" --- # Canada 2 min read ## Canada Counter Tariff Fee - Effective for orders shipping on or after Tuesday, September 8, 2026, a 50% counter tariff fee applies to all orders shipping to Canada - The fee is calculated on the product only; it is not applied on top of the 10% Canadian shipping surcharge - GST/HST is calculated on the total after both the shipping surcharge and the counter tariff fee have been applied - Example: on a $100 USD product order, the 10% shipping surcharge adds $10 and the 50% counter tariff fee adds $50, bringing the subtotal to $160. GST/HST is then calculated on that $160 - See the [CBSA customs notice](https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/cn-ad/cn26-23-eng.html) for more information ## Shipping back to you (Studio Shipping) - A 10% surcharge is applied to all orders to offset additional shipping expenses - Shipments to all provinces are by FedEx Express. - FedEx Express will arrive to many locations in 2-4 business days - For shipments to the Canadian Territories, please see the _Other Countries_ section. - The required [GST or HST](https://static-stage.whcc.com/customer-service/sales-tax/#Canada-Taxes) (based on the province) will be collected by WHCC and will show up as sales tax on your invoice - WHCC is the importer of the packages so no additional taxes or fees will be due at delivery - These orders are subject to the $18 minimum before any shipping charges are added ## Shipping direct to your client (Drop Shipping) - Shipping your order to an address other than the address on file for your account is called drop shipping and is available for $7.95 plus the 10% Canadian surcharge and the required GST or HST will be collected - No invoice will be included and there is no mention of WHCC anywhere on the box or paperwork - Customs paperwork and invoices are submitted electronically to FedEx so nothing on the package will have the shipment value - These orders are subject to the $18 minimum before any shipping charges are added ## Restrictions Limited shipment upgrades may be available, please contact us for info.
